Dan founded Maia Care to revolutionize aging in place for older adults and their caregivers. As populations age and technology enables more home and virtual care, caregivers are more vital than ever to our quality of life.

Dan has been involved in the formation of 15 businesses, and the CEO of 5 early-stage companies. He was also a General Manager in large corporations for many years, including leading IBM Watson Health startup effort and many Watson innovation projects and acquisitions. Dan holds computer science degrees from Harvard College and Syracuse University and is the author of a McGraw-Hill textbook titled Distributed Computing Environments.
