We see, hear, and live our own caregiving stories every day. Whether it’s increasing trips to visit aging parents or moving to be closer, over 50 million Americans are caregivers. And we are too.
After 15 years in the health transformation space, Maia Care founder Dan Cerutti moved to be closer to his aging parents. He and his siblings provide regular assistance to his elderly independent parents. As their needs changed, the concept of a comprehensive platform to help caregivers emerged.
With the acceleration of home and virtual care during the COVID pandemic, coupled with his experiences as a caregiver, Dan saw an opportunity to build a platform for family and paid caregivers who shoulder the burden for the 90% of care that happens in the home, not in clinical settings.
Combining his passion for health transformation with his lived experience, Dan founded Maia Care to help deliver smarter, more connected care.
