Our Story
We see, hear, and live our own caregiving stories daily. It’s not surprising as the US population ages. Whether it’s increasing trips to visit aging parents or moving to be closer, over 50 million Americans are caregivers. And we are too.
After 15 years in the healthcare transformation space, Maia Care founder Dan Cerutti moved to be closer to his aging parents. He became part of a care team, with his siblings, to provide daily assistance to his elderly and independent parents.
With the acceleration of home and virtual care during the COVID pandemic coupled with his daily experiences as a caregiver, Dan saw an opportunity to build a platform for the family caregivers who shoulder the burden for 90% of care that happens at home, not in hospitals or clinical settings.
Combining his passion for healthcare transformation with his lived experience, Dan created Maia Care to help deliver smarter, more connected care.
